Divorce Fees and Charges

A straightforward divorce where there is no dispute over the children or property - £1,000 +plus VAT, plus £550 court issue fee - issuing the divorce petition, obtaining the Decree Nisi, and the Decree Absolute

Divorce where dispute over children and/ or property - we charge on a time basis £365 per hour which will include liaising and negotiating with the other party and preparing case to court to get court orders. Plus we charge on a pro rata basis of 10% per telephone call - in and out, per text message- in and out, whatsapp message- in and out, Emails - in and out

Section 8 Child Arrangement Orders

Child Arrangements Orders - section 8 Children Act 1989. These orders decide who the child is to live with - Residence Order , and spend time with - Contact Order.

The person named in a Child Arrangements Order shares parental responsibility for the child, and can make most important decisions on behalf of the child,It lasts until the child turns 18 unless the court states otherwise.

When making Child Arrangement Orders, the Court is required to attach a 'Warning Notice'. The Child Arrangement Order must contain the warning notice in order for an enforcement order to be made. In other words, the person who is in breach of the order must know of the existence of the warning.

Fees and Charges

We charge on a time basis £365 per hour for preparing your case and representing you at all the court hearings with the assistance of a barrister where required ( which is billed separately) plus we charge on a pro rata basis of 10% per telephone call - in and out, per text message- in and out, whatsapp message- in and out, Emails - in and out
